From the Principal's Desk
Welcome
to Hughesdale Primary School, a great place for learning! It
is with much pleasure that I welcome you via our website.
The
staff and I look forward to sharing with you the important task of fulfilling
your child’s educational needs as they grow and develop into the future. At
Hughesdale our motto, ‘Aim High’, is the focus of our school philosophy. It
is reflected in the partnership between students, staff and parents. As a
prospective member of our school community, we look forward to developing this
partnership for the benefit of your child.
Our
school provides a broad curriculum, with Literacy and Numeracy being our key

students’ progress is regularly assessed and reported to parents. A code of
conduct guides students, staff and parents in encouraging self-discipline,
responsibility, fairness, honesty and respect for the rights of others. The
wearing of the school uniform, including the sports uniform, is compulsory. We
believe a school in uniform fosters identity, school unity and spirit.
